Nyt se on valmis! It's finished!

Yes! Now I can say my log hut is finished, not nearly finished, not almost finished, but FINISHED! It took three and a half years, but now it's finished! The building inspector comes tomorrow to check my log work. I hope everything is all right.

Tammikuu / January 2013

Nyt olen sitten tehnyt ikkunat. Pieniä ja söpösiä ovat ne. Tänään 14. tammikuuta laitoin viimeisetkin ikkunoiden vuorilaudat kiinni. Tältä päivältä ei ole vielä kuvia, koska päivänvalo loppui. Salamavalolla en aio yrittääkään kuvata. Laitan kuitenkin muutaman kuvan ikkunoiden teon vaiheista.

I have hand made small, cute windows for my hut. Today, 14th January, I fastened rest of the frame boards.
I didn't take any photographs, though,  for the winter days are short and it was dark when I finished. I do, however, include some photos of the window-making process. Enjoy!
